Stimulating
Entrepreneurship on Tourism Vocational Education (SETVE) project aims to support
entrepreneurship in tourism domain and to teach how to praise local touristic
values.
The project makes learners starting and running their own virtual tourism and catering companies performing virtual tourism transactions among partners by following the real codes in the local context.
By means of 'practice firms (PF)' not only do the learners get acquainted ‘how to start a business’, but also they discover and advertise local/rural tourism opportunities and turn into spontaneous entrepreneurs.
Within the project, the learners of VET institutions (TR-AOTML, HU, FR) will set up PFs and work as virtual tourism agencies selling tours for local tourism spots and as catering company. They will provide ‘real information’ by means of the visuals shared on the internet to the 'customers' from the partner institutions.
The partners, in or more into world-of-work (FR, TR-TARGED), will provide consultancy and carry concrete experiences into project media.
SETVE is a good means of coherence between VET and marketplace in an international context. The project will mainly focus on learner mobilities and communication and will secure VET skills, real market experience and citizenship notion of future members in the domain.
